    Currently, we are project coordinators for a youth job-training program using Second Life as supportive, immersive activities in soft skills and critical thinking reinforcement to the classroom studies.     i-Learning Workshops gives tour of Second Life® to a local university class:

    I-Learning Workshops member Agnesa Capalini (an academic librarian in California) took a group of Graduate of Education students from Connecticut for a tour of some of the fantastic work being done in Second Life® by real-life librarians.     Following the tour, a book discussion about Moby Dick was led by real-life/Second Life® librarian, JJ Drinkwater.

    March ‘07 – A job-training facility was created for a local training program.

    I-Learning Workshops’ (formerly e-SL Workshops) First Event!

    I-Learning Workshops first SL event, The Lighthouses of New England, included hot-air-balloon rides, a sideshow presentation of real- life New England lighthouses, guided boat tours of SL replicas of these lighthouses, and, a surpise greeting from a group of SLNE mermaids!

    Thanks to RJ Kikuchiyo, master SL lighthouse builder and RL Coast Guard member, Delphina Audina of Scout-It (Virtual) Guided Tours and the SLNE Mermaids for a big I-Learning Workshops day!
