Our mission is to assist educators and workplace trainers to use the most practical methods and mediums available to develop immersive experiences. We believe that the overall objective for the project is the key to creating successful learning experiences; adapting the newest, latest technologies is not always necessary. Arriving at the best blend of tools and methods stemming from our client’s needs, goals and abilities is our standard for service.

Who We Are:

Trudy Takacs and the i-Learning Workshops brand began in 2007, when Kate first began offering the Second Life® world as a powerful medium for education and training. The names have become interchangeable across the Internet.

Kate Robbins (Trudy Takacs)

Kate holes a Master’s in Education TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) USA. She specializes in  adult education and online learning.

Before making TESOL her passion, Kate had a corporate career in publishing, advertising and public relations.

David Robbins

David has had a long career in design and publishing for print and new media. His expertise is the application of new media applications for learning modules.

He is known to drop into the Second Life® world as Evad Slade to support Kate and practice his sailing skills.
