About Us
Our mission is to assist educators and workplace trainers to use the Second Life® world to enhance the learning experiences and engage learners. As specialists in teaching in this environment, we can adapt your traditional classroom curriculum for SL, or develop one for your needs. We understand the unrivaled benefits of immersive learning in the Second Life® virtual world and will consult you with on the best ways to unleash that potential.
Who We Are:
We have been on the ground floor of implementing an employment training program, Talent for Growth, to empower roughly 300 young people in the Connectictut-New York region, using the Second Life® virtual world. Funded throught the U.S. Department of Labor, Talent for Growth is training youth for entry-level jobs in six sectors of the economy.
Trudy Takacs

In real life, Trudy holds a Master’s in Education TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) USA. She specializes in adult education and business English.
Before making TESOL her passion, Trudy had a corporate career in publishing, advertising and public relations, which included meeting planning.
Evad Slade

Evad has had a long career in design and publishing for print and new media. His expertise is the application of new media applications for learning modules.
In SL he runs a photography studio that often showcases RL photographers. Stop by his Studio 240 in the SLNE sim of Mystic!

EDucator Freiman

EDucator is a Director of a nonprofit Basic Skills and Workforce Development Agency. He is active in Second Life® as he explores its best application for engaging young adults in reading, writing, math, ESOL and vocational education.
Agnesa Capalini

Agnesa has a Master’s in Library Science degree and works as an academic librarian for a major university in California in real life.
She is responsible for teaching undergraduate students how to use print and electronic library resources for research. Agnesa also develops SL™ Mentor Training programs for librarians.
